Kristina Sadrolashrafi
REGISTERED CLINICAL COUNSELLOR
“The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.” ― Carl Jung
Hi! I am Kristina. While being in the counsellor chair, I am also a lifelong learner. What you carry into the therapeutic space, I strive to walk alongside you with compassion, dignity and empathy. I ground my practice in the belief that each of my clients carry profound inner wisdom.
As someone who values the power of therapy, I understand the importance of building trust in an ongoing therapeutic relationship. I strive to create a space where you can be yourself and feel understood. We can work together to find ways to witness what is holding you back from the life you want. Therefore, I value the importance of honouring and affirming diversity in however that may show up for you.
My practice is rooted in a humanness approach – the understanding that you are a human too, somatically based and trauma-informed – your safety and agency is valuable. In our sessions together, we will explore your thoughts, feelings, experiences and what messages your body is signalling in the here and now. And of course, tapping into your profound inner wisdom. I also draw from various approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT). I am also fluent in Farsi.
